My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is an animated series, which is currently airing on The Hub effective October 10, 2010. This incarnation of the popular Hasbro toy was developed for television by Lauren Faust who is famed for her work on two of Cartoon Network's noted franchises The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on all of which she worked with their creator and her husband Craig McCracken.
Yesterday I bought My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Fluttershy. I didn’t buy her at first since I haven’t seen the show. So I check out the show thinking it would bomb but surprisingly…it was good! Fluttershy became my fav pony because she reminds me of me. ^_^ Anyway I got her from Wal-Mart for $5.00 plus tax which comes out to $5.30. To my surprise she was the last Fluttershy left along with two Pinkie Pies. The last time I was there was a lot of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic ponies and all six were there and when I got back…. poof! Most of them all gone! I got lucky that Fluttershy was still there.
Fluttershy came with an animal friend who I assume is her animal friend Angel and a wagon so that Fluttershy can pull the bunny along. There was no twist ties, but a little hard to get out since they were wedge in there. After I took Fluttershy’s rubber band that was on her bangs her hair was awful. >_< It didn’t look much like due to her bangs being wave and a mess. So I carefully fixed her bangs with my flatiron. I was nervous while doing hoping I don’t burn her hair since it was my first time doing something like this. To my surprise it came out perfect and looking more like the character. She has no point in articulation and the wagon doesn’t attach well to her leg. Also the wheels on the wagon do not rotate. So how are you supposed to pull the bunny in the wagon? Either way I still love my Fluttershy figure and she just look so cute on my shelve with my other collectable toys (that I will post pics soon as I can).
